Dear sec 4s,
this site should be the most frequently be used by you, especially for discussions. This will serve as our e-forum instead of the e-litespeed as I think that this is more convenient.
I personally think that 1 theory and 1 practical lesson per week is barely enough for you to understand the concepts and get good grades. This is your last year in sec sch so push yourself more whether you like the subject or not. You shall be matured and disciplined to do what's important and not just do what you like.
Let's have an enjoyable year learning physics~

3 Sincerity / Diligence / Integrity
Dear sec 3s,
we have completed our first lesson on practical. It was disappointing that I had to scold all three classes for playing of instruments/apparatus regardless my warning to you in the beginning of the lesson.
I do not wish to see you committing the same fault in future.
Reasons being:
1) We waste time getting you focus on the experiment.
2) You may damage the equipment and need to pay for the damages.
3) Worst, you may cause injuries to yourself or your friends.
4) You are science students in the lab, not children in the playground.
Your practicals will be the 2nd lesson, for 3 Si and Di, for physics every week. And 3rd lesson for 3 In. So please prepare for the practical lessons unless that day is a holiday.
I hope we will have enjoyable and meaningful physics lessons this year.

Sec 2 Humility
Events for the year:
1) Show & Tell
Each student will be presenting individually or in groups a topic on science. Marks will be awarded and included in the CA1. The order of prsentation will be given to you once you all have submitted your groupings to Hui Hui.
2) Sungei Buloh
Sec 2 Exp students will be going to sungei buloh, a nature reserve, during the post-exam period. There will be a handout which you have to complete during your journey in sungei buloh. Marks will be awarded and included in CA2.
3) Life Science
Sec 2 Exp students will be taking a module on life science from 9th April to 20th April during lesson time. $45 will be deducted from edusave, if possible, and $45 to be paid to school. This module will be tested and marks to be included in CA1.
4) E-learning
Once the your accounts have been activated, there will be e-lessons and you will be notified through this blog.
